Future Friday’s
While this post doesn’t relate to P2/3 completely I thought I would share my Future Friday afternoon here.
I am running a three week textile crafts block and the upper school pupils got the chance to do some felt-making and for their final session they tried stitching on their felt artwork and adding buttons to their textile art.
Seeing involves precise fine motor skills and these are important skills in medicine, engineering and other industries. The children worked hard over the three weeks and were extremely supportive of each other by offering to help thread needles for each other etc.
Here is their second piece of felt art. The children had free rein to select colours and design their felt fabric.
Don’t they look fantastic!
